Our Mission

Women Strengthening Our Community

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club is a dedicated group of women who live and work in the Dublin area, and are interested in civic betterment through social, charitable, educational and community outreach opportunities.

We come together to volunteer, network and fundraise with the goal of creating a strong community through service and lasting friendship.

Philanthropy

Each year the Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club supports many in need. Throughout the club’s history, the DWPC has donated over $350,000 in charitable contributions. Our focus is to support and partner with local charities to positively impact the community in which we live. The DWPC has supported organizations such as Dress for Success, Welcome Warehouse, The Dublin Food Pantry, Dave Thomas Foundation For Adoption, KidSMILES Pediatric Dental Clinic, I Support the Girls, Adaptive Sports Connection, No Kid Fights Cancer Alone and the Dublin Library. Our feeling is that if there is a need in the community no contribution is too small; whether financial or by donating your time to volunteer, together we can create lasting impact in the community in which we live.

In addition to supporting local causes, our fundraising efforts help fund scholarships for graduating high school seniors and adult women who are continuing their education. This year we will be giving 2 – $1500 Student Scholarships, 2 – $1500 Adult Scholarships, 1- $500 STEM Scholarship and 1-$500 Nursing Scholarship to local award winners. Scholarships are awarded based primarily on financial need.
