The Irish Festival beer sales is our second largest fundraiser.

This past year we provided over $17,000 in grants and scholarships.  You can help us do it again this year!

If you sign up for just one shift to serve beer at the Irish Festival (they call it Sharing O' the Green) for the DWPC you will get into the Irish Festival Free the day you serve.

New to DWPC or thinking of joining?

  • New members who volunteer just one shift at the Irish Festival can sign-up on-line by July 21st and receive a half price membership for the DWPC ($23.50 on line)

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club is proud to celebrate over 35 years of serving our community.

About Us

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club (DWPC) is a nonprofit organization made up of around 100 enthusiastic and dedicated women.  Founded in 1978, DWPC is focused on fulfilling the needs of women, children, and families.  We have a long history of service in the Columbus region, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare. DWPC was proud to be named a finalist in the 1999 Columbus Dispatch Community Service Awards.

Events

Informative and entertaining programs are presented at monthly general meetings. A variety of Interest groups also meet allowing members to develop friendships with others in small group settings. Membership in the DWPC is a very rewarding experience, and anyone who wishes to join is welcome. There are no geographic requirements, however the focus of the club’s activities is primarily in the Dublin area.

Philanthropy

Each year the Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club reaches out to many in need. Throughout our club’s history, we have given over $300,000 in charitable contributions. Click here:  From Homeless to College Graduation to see a video from our 2015 Snowflake Gala:  The Magic of Dublin which includes a personal story from one of the adult women who, while homeless, received our adult education scholarship.  Stories like this and other of the people we have helped along the way continue to touch our hearts and renew our commitment to serve.
