2017 Robotics Scholarship Application

WHAT IS THE SAXENA WILKE FOUNDATION?

The Saxena Wilke Foundation was started by Dublin Schools Alumni Abhinav Saxena and Adam Wilke. The foundation’s purpose is to help promote interest in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)-related disciplines and simp- ly to give back to the communities that Abhinav and Adam have been and are a part of.

WHY FIRST TEAM 1014?

Abhinav and Adam are both alumni of the “FIRST” Team 1014, the original “Bad Robots” in 2005. Their participation in Team 1014 instilled a love for the STEM disciplines and developed their lifelong friendships. Abhinav and Adam truly be- lieve that fostering STEM education is a must for the highly technological innova- tion driven world of today. They know that Team 1014 prepares its students to reap the benefits and meet the challenges of globalization and a knowledge-based economy. They hope to help Team 1014 in this by partnering with the Dublin Women’s Club and awarding two $1250 scholarships to Team 1014 members.
