Snowflake Gala
On behalf of Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club, we would like to offer our gratitude and thanks to the members of the community who joined together for the 2nd annual Snowflake Gala: Keys to Giving. The signature event, held Feb. 27 at The Country Club at Muirfield Village, netted more than $15,000 in support of adult education grants, scholarships and support for families and women in times of crisis or need. The sold-out event, celebrated the many accomplishments of honoree Peigi Fisher-Hanson, owner of The Spa at River Ridge, and featured WBNS-10TV anchor Jeff Hogan as emcee.

We would like to extend a special thanks to the members of our all-volunteer gala committee: Kelly Wesp, Jennifer Simonette, Terri Butler, Toni Carter, Gayle Holton, Anna Marie Lash, Betsy Willi, Amy Weeks, Colleen Walsh, Beth Barnes, Mara McKee, Amy Ailts, Jennifer Lambright, Kristin Starr, Jeanine Donaldson, Deb Burns and Advisors-Margie Amorose and Chris Close.

We would also like to thank the following for their support and contributions to the 2016 Snowflake Gala: Dean Allstate Insurance Group, Hollywood Casino – Columbus, The Medsker Khalaf Visintine Group, Wells Fargo Advisors-Brian Stevenson Group, Minameyer Residential Care Services, The Spa at River Ridge and St. Brigid of Kildare.
We would also like to thank many the individuals and companies who contributed to our silent auction, as well as The Country Club at Muirfield Village, Gayle Holton Design, Affiliated Resource Group, Mama Knows Best, Smiley Dental Group, Shamrock Family Eye Care, Winans of Dublin and Milano Florist.

We are honored to be part of such a dedicated group of women who give so much of their time and talents to help others. We are certain that we speak for the many unnamed recipients of your generosity when we say thank you for working to help those in need. Enjoy these pictures from the event.
With deep appreciation,

Sharon Zimmers and Robin Moran

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club (DWC) is a nonprofit organization made up of around 100 enthusiastic and dedicated women.  Founded in 1978, DWC is focused on fulfilling the needs of women, children, and families.  We have a long history of service in the Columbus region, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare. DWC was proud to be named a finalist in the 1999 Columbus Dispatch Community Service Awards.

Informative and entertaining programs are presented at monthly general meetings. A variety of Interest groups also meet allowing members to develop friendships with others in small group settings. Membership in the DWC is a very rewarding experience, and anyone who wishes to join is welcome. There are no geographic requirements, however the focus of the club’s activities is primarily in the Dublin area.

Each year the Dublin Women’s Club reaches out to many in need. Throughout our club’s history, we have given over $300,000 in charitable contributions. Those include helping to pay rent, utility bills, or medical and dental expenses for those in need, as well as Holiday meals and gifts. The stories of the individuals we have helped along the way continue to touch our hearts and renew our commitment to serve.

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club is proud to celebrate over 35 years of serving our community!
