December General Meeting: Holiday Giving & Wrapping Party
Making Christmas wishes come true is very important to the women of DWC. The 2014 Holiday Giving event is on Dec 08 at 7pm in Shelley Menduni’s home. Each holiday season, the club sponsors families in need through the Welcome Warehouse – a Dublin based non profit organization. Club members shop for gifts, and we gather at a member’s home in December to wrap each gift.  We celebrate the holiday together as we help make some Christmas wishes become realities. Please email if you would like to purchase a gift for a child in need.

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club (DWC) is a nonprofit organization made up of around 100 enthusiastic and dedicated women.  Founded in 1978, DWC is focused on fulfilling the needs of women, children, and families.  We have a long history of service in the Columbus region, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare. DWC was proud to be named a finalist in the 1999 Columbus Dispatch Community Service Awards.

Informative and entertaining programs are presented at monthly general meetings. A variety of Interest groups also meet allowing members to develop friendships with others in small group settings. Membership in the DWC is a very rewarding experience, and anyone who wishes to join is welcome. There are no geographic requirements, however the focus of the club’s activities is primarily in the Dublin area.

Each year the Dublin Women’s Club reaches out to many in need. Throughout our club’s history, we have given over $300,000 in charitable contributions. Those include helping to pay rent, utility bills, or medical and dental expenses for those in need, as well as Holiday meals and gifts. The stories of the individuals we have helped along the way continue to touch our hearts and renew our commitment to serve.

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club is proud to celebrate over 35 years of serving our community!
