ABOUT US
The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club (DWC) is a nonprofit organization made up of over 125 enthusiastic and dedicated women. Founded in 1978, DWC is focused on fulfilling the needs of women, children, and families. We have a long history of service in the Columbus region, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare. DWC was proud to be named a finalist in the 1999 Columbus Dispatch Community Service Awards.
EVENTS
Informative and entertaining programs are presented at monthly general meetings. A variety of Interest groups also meet allowing members to develop friendships with others in small group settings. Membership in the DWC is a very rewarding experience, and anyone who wishes to join is welcome. There are no geographic requirements, however the focus of the club’s activities is primarily in the Dublin area.
PHILANTHROPY
Each year the Dublin Women’s Club reaches out to many in need. We are often the last resort for individuals when other assistance is unavailable. Throughout our club’s history, we have given over $200,000 in charitable contributions. By helping to pay rent, utiltiy bills, or medical and dental expenses for those in need, we have often served as a lifeline when people needed it most. The stories of the individuals we have helped along the way continue to touch our hearts and renew our commitment to serve.
